This booklet belonged to ANTHONY N. YANNARELL (#13127376). Anthony Yannarell, from Pennsylvania, was born on April 11, 1922. He had a high school education for four years and his occupation was listed as "undefined". He lived in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania until he enlisted on October 13, 1942. Anthony took some of his training at Camp Forrest, Tullahoma, Tennessee and at Camp Phillips, Salina, Kansas before going to the European Theatre of Operations (ETO). He was a Private First Class with the 80th Infantry Division to which he was assigned October 17, 1942. As a Pfc. with the 80th Division, Yannarell took part in the four Blue Ridge Division Campaigns in Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes-Alsace and Central Europe. He also recieved the Purple Heart
Anthony Yannarell lived in Hazleton, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania when he died on December 27, 2003 and is buried at Most Precious Blood Cemetery, Hazleton, Pennsylvania.
